In response to COVID-19, our teams are implementing enhanced measures for food preparation, set-up and service, so that you and your loved ones can dine with confidence and peace of mind.  These are in addition to the internationally certified standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety we already maintain.

Grand Hyatt Shanghai boasts 8 restaurants and bars, including ON56, an all-day dining restaurant featuring an even larger selections of global delicacies in a modern and elegant space alongside magnificent city views. Our Japanese restaurant Kobachi offers exquisite Japanese Cuisine while Patio offers a lounge for a relaxation. Take Shanghainese cuisine to new heights at Club Jin Mao, one of the fine restaurants in the city with breathtaking panoramic views of Shanghai, or authentic Cantonese cuisine at Canton. The sky-high restaurant bar - Cloud 9 on 87th floor is an ideal place for a night gathering. Impression Gallery and Dining offers an elegant dining area with private rooms for intimate gatherings or gala dinners. while Pastry Boutique is a modern social space providing quality Nespresso single origin coffees, handmade cakes, pastries and chocolates, which are ideal for gifting or a casual moment.


ON56

Grand Hyatt Shanghai unveils its fully upgraded all-day dining restaurant featuring an even larger selection of global delicacies in a modern and elegant space from Grand Café on the 54th floor to ON56 on the 56th floor. The new buffet experience is complemented by an unbeatable panoramic view of Shanghai through our floor-to-ceiling windows.

From sea to land, from farm to table, ON56 delivers an exciting lineup of different cuisines to delight guests. Indulge in four stations featuring a gourmet spread of international and seafood specials, each featuring a live cooking station, allowing a more engaging atmosphere between guests and the master chefs. The scrumptious buffet spread includes fresh handmade pasta to a live wok station. Diners can choose to start with various salad creations, charcuterie, international cheeses and a large seafood selection including Boston lobster, king crab and a sashimi counter.

Canton

Located on the 55th floor of Shanghai’s Jin Mao Tower, Canton restaurant at Grand Hyatt Shanghai offers traditional Cantonese cuisine prepared by our master chef, in a contemporary setting.

Canton offers three dining areas with distinctive, sophisticated design suitable for all occasions. The main dining area is contemporary and elegant featuring two gold-leaf glass dividers etched in Chinese with matching flooring designed in a traditional Chinese pattern, combining granite, wood and brass. Cozy balcony seating overlooks the double-height lobby and presents stunning views of Shanghai and beyond. Six private rooms of varying sizes are available for exclusive entertainment, all offering striking views of the city. The largest private room can seat up to 34 guests.

The décor of Canton is a seamless fusion of Chinese motifs and western designs. Oval hammered silver bowls and unique crackled chinaware is accompanied by an elegant silverware stand, holding cherry wood silver-tipped chopsticks and silver spoons, and silver tea glasses paired with black porcelain teapots encased in hammered silver containers.

Club Jin Mao

Club Jin Mao, located on the 86th floor of the Jin Mao Tower at Grand Hyatt Shanghai, is one of the most prestigious Shanghainese restaurants in the city, offering exquisite and authentic cuisine.

With superlative views overlooking the Shanghai skyline, Club Jin Mao restaurant is designed around traditional Chinese elements and contemporary abstract patterns. Club Jin Mao has six private rooms, with the largest capable of seating up to 40 guests. Each of the private rooms is named after a Chinese figure, and accompanied by miniature tower decorations.

Kobachi

Come to the newly renovated Kobachi on the 56th floor of the Jin Mao Tower at Grand Hyatt Shanghai, and enter a world of fine traditional Japanese cuisine. Watch as the chef de cuisine and his team prepare exquisite sushi, sashimi and yakitori in the stunning open kitchen with freshly imported ingredients and seafood.

Cloud 9

Located at the pinnacle of the Jin Mao tower at Grand Hyatt Shanghai, guests can relax with sky-high tapas selections and specially make cocktails and snacks. With a spectacular 360-degree view of Shanghai from the 87th floor, it also features a great collection of champagnes and sparkling wines by the glass, savory snacks, and DJ performances.

Impression Gallery and Dining

Artistic flair meets gourmet cuisine at Impression Gallery and Dining, Grand Hyatt Shanghai’s bright new addition to its food and beverage venues, presenting an extraordinary interpretation of a fusion of classical art and cultural, artistic homage.

Located on the 53rd floor of the iconic Jin Mao tower, the epicurean experience has been created based on the inspirations of renowned impressionist artists, combined with carefully sourced international produce to create impressive flavors. Reminiscent of Shanghai’s cabaret scene in the roaring 30’s and 40’s, the live band will set the stirring mood as the mixologist shakes high-end spirits and world-class wines, inviting you to take a sky-high exploration or art and dining as all of your senses are ignited.

Patio

Beneath the breathtaking atrium spiraling 33 floors up to the building’s crown, Patio makes for a spectacular setting for afternoon tea or drinks.

Located on the 56th floor, Patio at Grand Hyatt Shanghai owes its soothing atmosphere to the warm glow of polished quartz columns and the dazzling display of high-speed lifts in their glass enclosures.
